Luckily this plant isn’t hers, so she can’t kill it!
Margot (she/her) is a Chicago-based singer, dancer, actress, and teacher. She began performing at the age of 8 with lots of encouragement from her musical family.
She received a BFA in Musical Theater from Millikin University, and enjoyed performing as “Mabel” in their production of Pirates of Penzance. While at Millikin, she fell in love with Shakespeare and was able to study Shakespeare performance at the Globe Theater in London, where she was bit by the travel bug.
Kind, compassionate, and a true team player. She is an advocate for representation and accessibility in the arts, and believes that ART IS FOR EVERYONE!
One of Margot’s love languages is food! She loves to cook, bake, and entertain. She even channels her “inner Ina Garten” by hosting cooking classes for her friends!
She loves a good laugh, a walk on a sunshiny day, bluegrass music, and a terrifying scary movie! Her aspirations include: plant mom.
Ask her for recipe suggestions, she’s got you covered!

When not performing, Margot teaches at Ovation Academy of Performing Arts, BRAVO Performing Arts Academy, and choreographs for the local high school showchoir. She directs, music directs, choreographs, teaches voice lessons, and coaches auditions. She began working with kids when she was 13, and her passion for it is still going strong! She is always so grateful for her community of students and teachers around her.

Robber Bridegroom: “One of my favorite musical numbers was delivered by Margot Frank in her role as Rosamund’s wicked stepmother Salome Musgrove. As she sang “The Pricklepear Bloom,” Frank totally embodied her character and left it all on the stage with her sassy presentation of an older woman lamenting about her fading beauty and aging body.” River Cities’ Reader (Rochelle Arnold): River Bandit's Game: “The Robber Bridegroom,” at the Timber Lake Playhouse (2021)
25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee: “Frank's character [Rona] has a welcoming persona and a mighty voice, and is reminiscent of the Narrator in Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat – though, regrettably, she doesn't get as much center-stage time.” River Cities’ Reader (Pamela Briggs): Loved Letters: “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,” at the Timber Lake Playhouse (2021)
Pirates of Penzance: “I attended the Friday night performance so I saw Frank take the stage. She blew everyone away. She has an amazing voice that was soothing to the audience which made her perfect for the role as the love interest.” Decaturian: Pirates of Penzance (2020)
